The BTS "Permission to Dance" Challenge launched on youtube Shorts this week is all revealed. Youtube and BTS have officially announced their Permission to Dance Challenge and invited individuals from all around the globe to video and upload their newly released 15-second versions of the group's video. The challenge begins on Friday, July 23, and continues exclusively on youtube Shorts through Saturday, August 14. BTS previously teased the challenge in a youtube Shorts video on July 9.Fans worldwide are invited to create their own 15-second mobile app shorts on youtube, inspired by the smooth "Permission to Dance" moves by BTS.
What is the award? In the context of this challenge, BTS will highlight some of their best youtube Shorts performances in a video compilation that may be priceless to certain fans. Participants are encouraged for their video sequences to include hashtags #permissiontodance and #Shorts (youtube stated Shorts would not be used without permission from the author).
This Friday, everyone can start with the creation of a 15-second youtube Short, through a mobile app, which replicates the main dance moves from the BTS music video "Permission to Dance." The dance moves to the challenge incorporate the worldwide gestures of "peace," "dance" and "joy" that the band utilised in their music video.
"Permission to Dance' is a song that's going to pump and dance everyone's heart," said BTS in a statement. "We also prepared the 'Permission to Dance Challenge' with youtube Shorts so please stay tuned for more."

On youtube, BTS is among the top five most famous musicians. The videos of the group have received more than 10 billion views over the last 12 months. For three different music videos, BTS has 1 billion views: "DNA," "Boy With Luv," and "Dynamite moreover."
In May, the BTS beat its record for most youtube views with their "Butter" music video with 113 million views in the first 24 hours of its release. "Butter" also holds a record with 3.9 million concurrent views for the most significant music video launch ever on Youtube. BTS has also recently earned No. 1 on Youtube's world leaderboard for advertising in Hyundai Motor Co.'s Earth Day commercial last year.
